Josh of The Lost Flashbacks Podcast joined Big-O of The Cranky Fanatic Podcast to give his initial reaction (and summary) of LOST: Via Domus having recently completed the game. The following is the entire podcast (which mostly discusses "The Other Woman") but you can catch the stuff about Via Domus near the end of the podcast at about 1 hour, 6 minutes & 30 seconds.
Keep in mind that the section just before they discuss the game they discuss the trailer for next week's episode of Lost, so make sure to scrub past 1 hour, 7 minutes if you don't watch show trailers. :)

He said the puzzles were hard... pftt. The guy obviously didn't get to the part where you have to carry dynamite back to the other hatch door while trying to avoid Smokie. That part was so friggin' hard!
ash,
I've heard about this thing where you have to avoid smokie whilst carrying dynamite and must say that I never actually saw that part. When I got the dynamite from the black rock, I had to go back through a little bit whilst an other was shooting at me. Then I got to a place where it asked me whether I wanted to go to the Dark Terrutory or the Hatch.. so I chose the Hatch and skipped this bit.
When I left the area, it just took me back to dark territory. I never got an option to go straight back to the hatch with the dynamite. Lucky you!
I'm very disappointed that the developers of the game chose not to support those of us with laptops (for the PC version) and only made the game to support desktop PC video cards. I've got one of the brand new HP Pavilion Entertainment Edition laptops - kick-ass hardware by any standards (2.0GB of RAM is pretty good no matter how you package it, IMHO - 2.0GB is also the recommended RAM for playing Via Domus on a computer) - and I can't play Via Domus on my laptop because, according to the back of the box, "Laptop versions of these video cards may not work and are NOT supported." The game was bought as a gift...and now I can't even play it.
Again, I'm very disappointed that they chose not to support those of us with laptops. Maybe someday if I ever have a desktop computer (which is doubtful), I can play this game (in case you haven't picked up on it by now, I don't have a "next-gen" gaming console - I'm f'ing broke!) :-(
